The novel coronavirus seems to be taking over the world and close to home, taking over Mumbai at a pace that’s bound to have us not step out of our homes. In a series of unfortunate news that came in over the weekend, legendary actress Rekha‘s security guard also tested positive for the novel coronavirus. with many actors testing positive and the number of cases in Mumbai increasing day by day, one can never be too sure as to whether you have the virus or not. In such a situation Rekha Ji has informed the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) that she will get tested for the virus as well. She will most likely submit her reports today.
Meanwhile, her building has been sealed and declared a containment zone. The surrounding area has been completely sanitized. A notice has been stuck at the entrance of her building. The actress stays in the Bandstand area.
Over the weekend, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan took to their social media handles to announce that they were both COVID positive with mild symptoms. Both of them were admitted to Nanavati hospital. Later Abhishek also revealed that his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan had also tested positive but were quarantined at home. His other family members including his mother Jaya Bachchan had tested negative.
Anupam Kher‘s family members including his mother, brother, sister-in-law, and niece had also tested positive for coronavirus. TV actor Parth Samthaan also shared that he had tested positive for the same.
We wish all of them a speedy recovery and urge everyone else to stay in the safety of their homes and step out only if it’s an emergency.
