After almost 3 months of staying at home due to the COVID-19 lockdown, we are all waiting for things to go back to normal and go back to work. And surely, it’s going to be a feeling like no other! Guess it was the same for Ayushmann Khurrana. While the actor is in Chandigarh spending time with his parents, he finally got back on sets to shoot for a commercial.
According to a report by Mid-Day, Ayushmann shot for his first project in three months — a commercial for a lifestyle brand in Chandigarh. The entire cast had to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines that today’s time requires and adjust to the new normal with a very limited crew of 18 people — everyone sporting masks and gloves and maintaining social distance. They reportedly completed the shoot in 8 hours.
Speaking about the experience, Ayushmann told the publication:
It was great to be back on the set after so many months. We all have been home, waiting to get back to what we love doing.
Confident that things will go back to normal in the future, the actor adds:
I saw how people have prepared themselves for the shoot. Eventually, normalcy will be restored, and we will resume work with the necessary safety precautions in place.
Yes, that’s the dream! And I am sure we are all hoping for that too, especially so that we can see Ayushmann back on screen super soon!
The actor was last seen in Shoojit Sircar‘s, Gulabo Sitabo, opposite Amitabh Bachchan. The film premiered on Amazon Prime and received rave reviews for the performances.
