I always found scuba diving extremely fascinating. I remember my dad telling us stories about how he went scuba diving in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He still counts it as one of his best life experiences. But sadly, I am terrified of the oceans and seas. I didn’t even learn swimming, let alone have the courage to go scuba-diving! So, I thought I’ll just never get to experience what my dad experienced. But not anymore!
Virtual scuba dives are a thing now and I am all for it. The National Marine Sanctuaries are now allowing virtual dives that’ll let us explore the depths of the oceans, swim with a school of fishes, or check out a shipwreck underwater! You don’t need to be a certified diver or have a wetsuit—all you need is a phone or computer and you’re good to go.
