It was just a few days back, when Bollywood celebrities namely — Taapsee Pannu, Huma Qureshi, Amyra Dastur — among others voiced a complaint on their social media. The complaint was regarding their inflated electricity bill for the month of June. And now, another actor who has a similar complaint is Arshad Warsi, who has a funny take on it.
For all those who are unaware, Arshad is fond of painting and apart from being a Bollywood actor, he is also an artist. In a recent tête-à-tête with the Times Of India, he spoke about how the hobby of painting requires a lot of time but he finds it therapeutic. And now the actor wants people to buy his paintings so that he can pay his unreasonably high electricity bill.
Taking to his Twitter, the actor wrote— “People please buy my paintings, I need to pay my Adani electric bill, kidneys am keeping for the next bill”.
