The number of Covid-19 cases are unfortunately increasing by the day in India. While the government is trying their best to control and contain the spread of the virus, it’s proven to be challenging. Especially in Mumbai, many cases have been reported with Maharashtra being the state with the most number of cases. Earlier this year, Janhvi Kapoor‘s and Karan Johar‘s staff members were tested positive for Covid-19, and both their families had gone under strict 14-day quarantine after this. Karan’s family had also got tested for the virus and the results were negative.
Now, in the latest update, Aamir Khan has revealed that some of his staff members have tested positive for the virus. In an official statement he released, he said that his family was tested and was found negative, but currently, he was taking his mother to get tested as she’s the last one remaining to get tested in their family and asked for everyone’s prayers that she is tested negative. He also thanked the BMC for taking prompt action by taking good care of his staff members and fumigating his society after they were found positive.
Here’s the official statement released by the actor:
Hello everyone, this is to inform you that some of my staff have tested positive. They were immediately quarantined, and BMC officials were very prompt and efficient in taking them to a medical facility. I would like to thank the BMC for taking such good care of them, and for fumigating and sterilising the entire society.
The rest of us have all been tested and found negative.
Right now I am taking my mother to get her tested. She is the last person in the loop. Please pray that she is negative.
I would, once again, like to thank the BMC for the prompt, professional and caring manner in which they helped us 🙏
And a big thank you to Kokilaben Hospital, and the doctors, nurses and staff there. They were very caring and professional with the testing process.
God bless and stay safe.
Love.
Aamir.
We are praying that Aamir’s mother also gets tested negative. We also hope and pray that all his staff members return back home healthy.
