The entire film industry and audiences are still in a state of shock with the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. This is especially true of his co-stars, who he had worked with in his films. Be it Shraddha Kapoor, Sanjana Sanghi or even Bhumi Pednekar. A few days after his demise, Bhumi took to her social media to pen a note for Sushant, where she called him a ‘supernova’ and reminisced about the time she spent with the late actor on the sets of their film, Sonchiriya. Now, she announced that she will be feeding families who are in need of food, in Sushant’s memory.
As a mark of tribute for the late actor, Bhumi is joining hands with director Abhishek Kapoor’s wife, Pragya Kapoor’s, ‘Ek Saath — The Earth Foundation‘ to feed 550 impoverished families.
Announcing it, Bhumi took to her Instagram to say:
I pledge to feed 550 impoverished families through the Ek Saath Foundation in the memory of my dear friend. Let us show compassion and love towards everyone that is in need, now more than ever.

This is such a sweet gesture, and I am sure Sushant would be extremely happy about this.
Sushant died of suicide in his Mumbai home on the 14th of June, and investigations are underway regarding his death. His family released a statement on Saturday where they mentioned that his childhood home in Patna will be turned into a memorial which will honour him and his life.
