The month of June is my most favourite one barring January which is my birthday month. This is so because June is dedicated to love and only love. Besides that, we also get a glimpse of all the various fashion styles at Pride parades and other Pride-related events. I personally believe that there is something about Pride fashion that deserves special attention. The LBGTQIA+ community is always at the forefront of fashion—never shying away from experimentation and freeing fashion from gender stereotypes. Not to miss, dropping trends like it’s no big deal! So as we celebrate Pride from the comfort of our homes this year, let’s have a look at those people that are on the top of their fashion game, shall we?
8 queer personalities with a killer fashion-sense:
1. Cara Delevingne
The model turned actor, Cara Delevinge is not only known for her flawless acting chops but also for her edgy style. A sneakerhead at heart, she sure knows how to work her charm even in six-inch stilettos. Her penchant for sharp tailoring and a little bit of skin-show is unmissable and the actress is often spotted wearing bare-chested pantsuits. Plunging necklines and risqué cuts are her go-to to make a statement on the red carpet, while her off-duty style includes baggy jeans, leather jackets and sneakers. She is also a lover for all things shiny!

2. Sushant Divgikar
Performance artist and Indian drag superstar, Sushant Digvikar’s personal style is anything but boring. He swears by flexibility in his outfits. His fashion bandwidth stretches from casual round-neck shirts, waistcoats to loud animal printed, fur jackets and bold suits. And being a drag queen, the makeup will only leave you awestruck!
3. Billy Porter
Billy Porter is known to walk into a room and turn heads for his jaw-dropping fashion quirks. He is the ultimate endorser of blazers and pantsuits and is spotted wearing the ensemble more often than not. However, his choice of offbeat prints, silhouette styles and the accessories he opts for make the difference. One accessory that he is a hard and fast patron of, is a structured yet an extravagant hat. Besides pantsuits, Billy also does not fail to experiment with cocktail dresses, flowy skirts and an overdose of shimmer.

4. Manish Arora
The Indian fashion designer is known for his love of vivid colours and sheen textures. Manish Arora on any given day is drenched in sequins and quirky prints. He believes in letting your imagination when it comes to fashion run wild! Even though his silhouettes are rather simple—trousers, shirts and waistcoats, it’s the usage of a myriad of colours that make any of his outfit statement-making.
5. Tan France
Tan France believes in investing in classic wardrobe staples. Although his style is quite versatile, the fashion designer and TV host favours pantsuits in a plethora of iterations. His off-duty and on-duty styles include essentials like shirts in a variety of prints, well-fitted trousers and uncountable jackets. In the shoe department, the fashion connoisseur always picks pointed-toe or combat boots and sneakers. To conclude, Tan France never fails to serve note-worthy looks with classics!

6. Rohit Bal
The fashion connoisseur has a flamboyant line of wedding-wear for men and women, however, his personal style isn’t as extra as his creations. The designer is mostly sporting the trusted shirt + blazer + trousers combo. And sometimes he leaves out the blazer. Leather jackets and crisp sherwanis also comprise his wardrobe with a focus on Indian prints! The one trend that he made famous are the dhoti pants. Jeans, shorts and polo neck t-shirts are his off-duty go-to’s.

7. Sam Smith
Apart from dropping some really good music hits, Sam Smith acquires a sophisticated and always put-together taste for fashion. The singer is a lover of black suits, knee-length overcoats and jackets. He has also given his stamp of approval for clashing prints and colour-blocking. Two trends that we absolutely love! Some prints that he is found sporting are stripes, checks and houndstooth.
