Sushant Singh Rajput‘s untimely demise has created unrest among audiences on social media and in the film industry. While social media has become a ho
t-pot of blame games and hatred, the mainstream media and news houses have been pulled out for being insensitive towards the deceased as well as his family and friends.
This comes after excessive media coverage and intrusion of the photographers at his funeral. This really upset actress and his close friend, Kriti Sanon. She was firstly called out for not posting anything on her social media to mourn Sushant’s death. Later, during his funeral, she had cameras being shoved at her face, asking for a comment. Kriti took to her social media today to share all her thoughts on this and lashed out at how, as actors, they are not treated as human beings with emotions.
She went on to talk about how there has to be rules in journalism and that blind items should be banned because such gossip and frivolous speculation spread quickly and deeply affects some people. She says that the toxic idea of “Ladke nahi rote“, “Be a man” also needs to stop and that everyone should tend to their emotions and seek help if anything is troubling them. Seems like she is hinting that these toxic patterns may be what pushed Sushant to take the decision he did.

This is something that everyone should ponder on. Sending lots of love and light to you, Kriti!
