During the lockdown now, film personalities are going live with a lot of publications and giving virtual interviews to stay in touch with their fans. They are also taking this time to go down memory lane and revealing rather interesting stories about their lives and careers. Choked director, Anurag Kashyap, just did that when he spoke about his equation with Shah Rukh Khan in an interview recently.
Anurag was recently live with Mid-Day, where he spoke about how he was hungry one day, and walked into Shah Rukh’s house, Mannat. He got to go in because of their college connection (both of them were students of Hansraj College) and says, “I remember him feeding me. He only knew how to make an omelette.”
Random much? Yes, he explains:
He is my senior from university, he has been there like a big brother helping me. Shah Rukh is super successful. When he loves you, he approaches things like, in my struggling years, (he used to tell me), ‘If you do what I tell you to do, your problems will disappear’. But I didn’t want him to make my life, I love him to death.
Talking about them working together, he says that they were supposed to do two films together — No Smoking and Allwyn Kalicharan — but both didn’t work out.
That is unfortunate, but we sure can’t wait for them to work together. And he also agrees he will make sure it happens and says, “But we will work together. I won’t go anywhere without making a film with Shah Rukh Khan.”
Anurag has been making the most of this lockdown as he is spending time with his daughter, Aliyah Kashyap. They are bonding over some super cute Tik Tok dances and it’s the sweetest! If you haven’t seen it yet, click here to know more!
