We’re still reeling under the shock of losing one of the most talented singers and music composers of the Indian music industry, Wajid Khan. The singer-composer passed away due to a cardiac arrest and was also tested positive for Covid-19. He was undergoing treatment for a kidney complication he had developed. Recently, his brother and collaborator Sajid Khan took to their Instagram handle to post a video of Wajid playing the piano through a phone app composing a tune while still dressed in the hospital attire. In the post, Sajid expressed how his brother never left music nor will music ever leave him. He further added that his name will always be tied to his brother’s and Sajid-Wajid they will remain forever.

The singer was laid to rest at the Versova Kabrastan in Mumbai. A day later, the singer-composer’s mother was also tested positive for the coronavirus. But reports suggest that she is on her way to recovery.
Sajid-Wajid is famous for composing songs of most Salman Khan‘s films like Wanted, Dabangg series, Ek Tha Tiger, and many more. May celebrities including Salman, Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, and many others had taken to social media to express their shock and condolences to Wajid Khan’s family.
