Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan gave Bollywood its first superhero in 2006— Krrish. Featuring his son and superstar Hrithik Roshan, the franchise kicked off with Koi Mil Gaya in 2003. Hrithik, who broke the box office record with War, is now gearing up with the fourth instalment of the franchise, Krrish 4. We are still awaiting for an official announcement by the makers of the film.
According to reports, the Roshans and a company of writers have been working on taking the story ahead and getting back everybody’s favourite alien, Jaadu. A source in Mumbai Mirror was quoted as saying that the writers have finally locked in an idea of getting Jaadu back, and added that with Rohit Mehra dying in the third instalment, it will be the best time to introduce Krrish and Jaadu.
The Super 30 actor, Hrithik, also established the same with the publication saying that “the world can do with some Jaadu now.”
Global star and Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra, who previously worked in the franchise, might reportedly be roped in to play Priya Mehra.
Hrithik had first confirmed Krrish 4 through his tweet where he wished his fans a happy Ganesha festival, with lord Ganesha dressed as Krrish. The movie was eyeing to release during Christmas 2020, but due to the pandemic, the project has been pushed further.
