Pooja Bedi who travelled to Goa amidst the lockdown is currently receiving a lot of hate online. It all began when the actress tweeted out a video of a poorly maintained Goa quarantine facility expressing concern over hygiene and sanitization. Twitterati trolled her for having gone to Goa during the lockdown after her tweet went viral. But Pooja is not one to back down without a fight, in another post on social media she hit back at the drillers and clarified that her fiance is Goan and they drove down to Goa as per the rules and took all the necessary permission they were required to. She also mentioned that the only reason she put out the video is that she was concerned for other people who might have to use the facility.

The lack of hygiene & sanitization makes it a BREEDING GROUND for viruses. People who enter goa WITHOUT corona may get it at such a badly sanitised quarantine centre. I TWEETED out of CONCERN 4 the safety of others… BUT all people can focus on is that “a celebrity entered goa”?

We’re extremely concerned with the video of the quarantine facility in Goa that seems dusty and unsanitized, to say the least. We hope the authorities take action and look into it. As for Pooja, we hope that her fiance and her are staying safe.
