The Covid-19 virus is such, it doesn’t seem to spare anyone — even if they are the Royals. Prince of Wales, Prince Charles just tested positive for the coronavirus and has been in self-isolation since, announced the Clarence House.
According to an article in the BBC News, a source told the publication that the prince, 71, has been experiencing mild symptoms, but is in good health and spirits otherwise. The Duchess Of Cornwall, Camilla was also tested for the virus but is not affected by it.
About how the Prince might have caught the virus, the Clarence House statement read:
It is not possible to ascertain from whom the prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks.
Now, as advised by the government and medical officials, the prince and duchess are self-isolating at their home in Scotland. They will be maintaining distance from each other, nevertheless.
The Prince has said to have last met his mother, the Queen, on March 12th at a charity dinner for the Australian bushfire relief and recovery effort. This was also his last public outing in recent weeks.
We wish him a speedy recovery and safe health to his near and dear ones.
