Even though all us have to stay quarantined in our homes to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and flatten the curve, it doesn’t mean that we stop caring about our appearances. I’m not saying that we should dress up and get ready as we would before the lockdown. However, paying a little attention to the way you look never hurt anyone. Pardon me for saying something so cliché, but when you look good, you feel good. I truly believe in that statement. For me, my mood depends partly depends on how my hair looks that day. So lately, instead of just letting my hair resemble Hagrid’s, I’ve been trying to style it in simple hairstyles to cheer me up. If you also want to try uplifting your mood by changing your hair, here are some minimum effort hairstyles you can try out at home:
1. Statement Scrunchie + Low Ponytail
On those days when your hair just won’t cooperate, your best option is to wear statement hair accessories. A fun oversized scrunchie is my favourite to wear. This hairstyle won’t even take up more than two minutes of your time. Just gather your hair in a low ponytail and secure it with a statement scrunchie.
2. Half-Bun
If you’re planning to have meetings via video calls, then this minimum effort will make you look put together and chic in no time! All you have to do is gather the top half of your hair and twist it into a bun. You can spice up this hairstyle with some accessories or a headband.
3. Messy Top Knot
This hairstyle is probably the easiest to do since the “messy” part of the hairstyle is already taken care of. All you have to do is tie your hair into a top knot and let a few strands of your hair frame your face.
