For those of you who grew up watching the dramatic lives of Blair and Serena unfold on screen for six seasons, you’re in for a treat! Gossip Girl is back with and you’ll be able to catch up with the lives of preppy American teens this year on HBO. While Blake Lively and other cast members of the show won’t be reprising their roles in this reboot, the new series will depict a whole new set of Upper East Siders.

The reboot will take place eight years after the original website went dark. It will depict just how much social media has changed the lives of preppy New Yorkers.

HBO Max launches in May, hence it will be aired on this streaming platform.

10 one-hour-long episodes are supposed to come out for the first season.
Who Are The New Upper East Siders?
The haughty list of the new cast members was released by TVLine. Emily Alyn Lind (Code Black, Revenge), Whitney Peak (The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Eli Brown (Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists), Johnathan Fernandez (Lethal Weapon) and Broadway vet Jason Gotay are the five actors who will be starring in this reboot. Kristen Bell will resume her role as the series’ narrator.
