Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey, who starred alongside each other in films like Traffic Signal and Aaja Nachle, fell in love during the filming of these movies and tied the knot in 2010. But shortly afterwards, they decided to go their separate ways in the year 2015. Now, 5 years after living apart, the couple have finally applied for a divorce on mutual consent.
According to a report on an entertainment portal, the couple is having a ‘very amicable’ divorce, filed through mutual consent. They are also parents to an eight-year-old son named Haroon whom they will co-parent together. Reports also suggest that the couple tried going through a detailed marriage counselling session, but decided that they didn’t want to give the marriage a second chance.
Back in 2015, when there were a lot of speculations regarding trouble in their marriage, Konkona decided to take to her Twitter to release a statement saying that Ranvir and her have decided to go their separate ways. She mentions that they will remain friends.

On the work front, Konkana’s film, ‘Dolly, Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’, produced by Ekta Kapoor is winning big at the film festivals all around the world. Ranvir, on the other hand, was recently seen in the much-acclaimed web series, Sacred Games and is set to star in Angrezi Medium next.
