By now the entire world must’ve not only realized but freaked out over the news of the cast of F.R.I.E.N.D.S coming together for a reunion. And no, this time it’s not a private party the actors are having at one of their homes, but it is the reunion we’ve all been waiting for. The cast is coming together for an exclusive untitled unscripted special on HBO Max.
Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt Le Blanc and David Schwimmer will return to the same stage that they used to shoot the original TV show, Stage 24 on the Warner Bros. studio lot in Burbank to celebrate the series that ended in 2004. According to Variety, each of the stars will be receiving at least 2.5 million dollars for participating in the 1-hour long special. Rumours of a reunion have been anticipated for months now. Warner Media created online streaming platform bought back the rights to F.R.I.E.N.D.S from Netflix. The special along with all the episodes of F.R.I.E.N.D.S will be available on HBO Max after its debut. The six of them confirmed the news today by sharing a post of their reunion.

And promptly the internet went into a collective meltdown and the reactions have been epic to say the least. Ben Winston will direct the special and executive produce alongside F.R.I.E.N.D.S executive producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman and David Crane. Jen, Courtney, Lisa, Matthew, Matt and David will also be executive producing the special.
The special will be out around May 2020. Mark your calendars!
