Yash Raj Film‘s next outing starring Ranveer Singh titled Jayeshbhai Jordaar is one movie that everyone’s anticipating this 2020! Directed by debutant writer-director Divyang Thakkar, this comedy-drama has Ranveer playing Jayeshbhai — the unlikely hero championing the cause of women empowerment. While South Indian actress Shalini Pandey has been cast opposite Ranveer in the film, the latest update is that Boman Irani will be playing his father in the film.
Speaking about it, producer Maneesh Sharma says:
Boman sir is playing Ranveer’s father in the film and their on-screen camaraderie is something to watch out for. His presence is invaluable as he livens up every scene with his own and very unique touch that is completely unmatched.
Speaking about working with Ranveer after ’83, Boman says:
Working with Ranveer is always fun. He is a powerhouse performer who gives his all in every scene and as an artist, it is amazing to creatively collaborate with such people. I’m playing his father in the film and we have a very interesting relationship for people to find out when they see the film.
We sure can’t wait to see them on screen together and are already excited for the makers to reveal the other cast members!
