Working at MissMalini is literally as fun as it looks, we had a mid-week party to launch @missmalinitrending— an Instagram based newsdesk that showcases all the latest updates from your most loved and followed content creators. We threw a launch party inviting top content creators and influencers to network and have a good time.
Here’s a peek at my favourite fashion looks of the night.
Malini Agarwal channelling a monochromatic look—a major trend from 2020, sporting a short lilac pant-suit, with a sheer, floral blazer, I think this look was quite the hit to wear to her very own party.
Samidha Singh killed it in a black puffer jacket, with a checkered, polo bodysuit, high-waisted jeans, and boots. What truly accentuates her look is, that adorable fringe that frames her face.
Mayur Rajput walked in looking like the star he truly is, with a bowler hat, a maroon polo, checked blazer, waist belt and some mad pocket detailing. God truly is in the details.
Rashi Mehra adds a pop of colour with her crop top and pairs it with shiny, paper-bar trousers with a ruffle trim, pointy flats to keep it slick. Love a great flannel skirt and Shabnam Fatima wears hers with a bright yellow blazer, tousled hair, white, strappy heels, and a handbag to finish out her look for the night.
Love! Anam Chashmawala’s classic but casual do, wavy side-swept hair, with a pearl-encrusted neckline, shoulder strap handbag. What’s not to love?
Gosh golly, doesn’t Malvika Sitlani look bom diggity in her pinstripe pant-suit? Adore how it streamlines her body and makes her look even taller than she is—that’s a hack right there for you, ladies. Don’t forget to cinch that waist in with a chunky belt.
Sushant Divgikar literally wears his personality—a maroon hat, corset belt, high-waisted striped trousers, blazer and lots of finger bling amplified his vibe.
This athleisure look is MAJE— owing to the bright pop of colour thanks to his bomber jacket! I love how he ties the colour in with his laces and rounds it off with a bum bag around his chest. Props to a man who can accessorize like Sanket Mehta does.
Shalini Samuel pairs her flowly, lemony, yellow, printed button skirt with a black crop top, it’s defo not a basic crop top.
A little sparkle never hurt anyone, Anusha Dandekar wears her sparkle with this cute, bishop, sleeved romper, wavy hair, poppy, pink lips and Valentino studded pumps added to the fashion quotient of the night.
A few common trends spotted were:
- A whole lot of flannel—which is amazing for the fall season.
- Yellow—which looks like an upcoming trend for the year.
- Black—as usual because, well black is simply amazing (also totally my favourite colour).
- Mom jeans—still trickling into 2020 from 2019, this anti-fit, straight cut jeans look fab on all body-types.
- Waist belts or Corset belts—cause, gots’ to highlight em waistlines.
- Pops of colour— cause let’s face it, everyone love’s a lil bit of colour to light up their lives.
- Lilac— since our Bosslady wears it so well, and also a very recognised trend of 2019.
- Fanny Packs—Nobody wants to carry a tedious, big, bag to a party, a fanny pack just packs in all your essentials for the night.
Our favourite content creators were so well-accessorized—major cred for their attention to detail.
