Jacqueline Fernandez and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Drive released on Netflix last week. While everybody was expecting the film to work, it didn’t manage to impress the masses. While many have expressed their reaction about the film on social media, a report in Bollywood Hungama stated that from here on, every project that comes to Netflix from Karan Johar’s production house will have to pass a quality check.
A source said:
Just because you are a popular filmmaker you can’t be trusted to provide quality content. Netflix and Amazon have international standards to maintain. They never expected they’d be let-down like this. From now on the rules will change. Big names won’t be let through the check post without being frisked.
Apart from this film, Jacqueline will star opposite Salman Khan in Kick 2. Talking about the delay in the making, the actress said:
That’s because the director really wanted it to be perfect. It is an amazing script. I am happy to be part of the sequel of a film which catapulted my career, It is good to be working again with the team.
Coming back to Drive, what are your thoughts about this one?
