Film stars often tend to become a solid voice of influence for their fans, whether they like it not not. So it becomes very important for them to have a healthy outlook towards anything in life, so that their fans get influenced in the right manner. Talking of a huge fan base, Salman Khan is one such actor in the industry who has a humungous fan following who are influenced by everything the star does.
Now, when it comes to fitness, Salman has been one of the first few actors to start the trend right from his ‘O O Jaane Jaana‘ days and everyone wanted a body like Salman after that. In a recent interaction with the media, at the preview of Being Strong Fitness Equipment store, he had a huge turnout of his fans waiting to see him. Talking to them all, he spoke about how we shouldn’t be using steroids to build our bodies.
He said:
Nowadays, there is a trend of taking steroids but it’s really wrong and harmful to the body. A lot of people misuse it, and it can damage your liver and kidney. I think protein shakes and supplements are good. With steroids, you can build your body but you can easily figure it’s not a naturally built body and it cannot last long.
He also spoke about his workout routine, saying that he exercises whenever he finds the time “after lunch break or after dinner, in the morning or in between the shots.” He adds, “Wherever I spot a small place, I start doing exercises. I think you need gym equipment to do your exercise but if it’s not there, you can go for traditional forms of exercise.”
Well, we got to agree with Sallu on this. Steroids are almost never a good idea! And we are sure a lot of his fans will be encouraged to work out in the right manner.
Salman has Dabangg 3 lined up for release this December, co-starring Sonakshi Sinha, debutante Saiee Manjrekar and Kiccha Sudeep. The film is being directed by Prabhudeva and is all set to release on 20th December.
