Matthew Perry Thinks The Joker’s Dance Moves Were Inspired By Chandler Bing From F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Joaquin Phoenix‘s performance in the Joker was appreciated and applauded by critics and audiences alike. But apart from his stellar acting, the Joker also created fodder for memes. Various stills and scenes from the film have been made into relatable memes. But one of the most famous ones has been from when the Joker breaks into a dance down a flight of stairs with his hands in the air. But it almost seems like we’ve already seen those moves somewhere else, doesn’t it?

Ardent F.R.I.E.N.D.S fans pointed out that this particular move was already done and dusted by Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing.
If you’ve watched the show, you’ll know that Chandler breaks into an awkward and goofy dance when he’s excited. Remember the time when he gets to know that he is the best sex Monica has had?

And Matthew seems to be in agreement with the fans because he tweeted saying, “You’re welcome.”
