Dhruv Sehgal and Mithila Palkar have become a household name, thanks to their show, Little Things. The third season is currently streaming on Netflix and we have already binge-watched it! While the show is every bit emotional, Dhruv and Mithila made an appearance on platform’s new chat show, The Brand New Show. While the show will be streaming in the evening on Youtube, we have some exclusive dope for you. Apart from Dhruv and Mithila, the episode will also feature comedian Kaneez Surka as the host, the Palkar will be seen narrating the story of how Dhruv discovered her.
Mithila revealed that the discovery happened before her cup song went viral.
This person called Dhruv Sehgal called me to audition for the show which I did for FilterCopy called News Darshan and he was the DOP for the show and it was written by Kartik Krishnan.
She further added:
He saw me there and he got in touch with me for the show. Kartik was writing the content for the video and then Dhruv auditioned me, that’s how it all began and the rest fell into place.
Mithila during that time was auditioning for a lot of things and News Darshan was her first internet gig. The actor also revealed that the first day of the News Darshan shoot was the same day her Bollywood film Katti Batti released. We are really glad that Dhruv discovered her because now, we cannot picture anybody else essaying the role of Kavya Kulkarani, except Mithila!
