It has been 25 years since the TV show F.R.I.E.N.D.S aired. But even today we roll on the floor laughing when we watch scenes from the same, no matter how many times we’ve watched it. The last episode aired in 2004 and ever since then fans of the show have been asking the cast and makers whether there will be a reboot in terms of a movie or a show? While the makers and cast have always maintained that there is nothing in the works, something must’ve changed recently.
Earlier this month, Jennifer Aniston joined Instagram and pretty much broke it. Her first post was with her beloved F.R.I.E.N.D.S co-stars and real-life friends Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt Le Blanc, and David Schwimmer.
If you haven’t seen this picture already, here you go:
People have been speculating if there was a reunion in the works, but Jen had clarified that for the first time in a long time everyone was in town and that’s why they met up. But recently on The Ellen Show, Ellen DeGeneres asked her if there would be a reunion or reboot of the show. To this, Jen said no almost immediately and the audience was left disheartened. But when Ellen asked if there was a movie in the works, Jen seemed to stutter a little. Finally, after much probing, she said there was something they were working on that resulted in loud cheers from the audience. In this particular segment, she surprised American singer Charlie Puth who is a big fan of the series. The singer who had met up with Courtney and Lisa for dinner earlier this year disclosed that this was the first time he was meeting Jen. By the end of the segment, he was so excited to meet her that he even ended up saying, “She’s my girlfriend.”

It’s still unclear if Jen was joking or serious about it. But I seriously hope this is true. Because I’d do anything to see the 6 of them together on screen again. Wouldn’t you?
