My recent Mumbai-Goa-Mumbai cruise story was so amazing that I can’t stop evangelizing it! I am happily announcing myself as a self-proclaimed & self-confessed cruise addict from now on, basis the spectacular experience I had on-board Jalesh cruises. I cruised away to Goa from Mumbai and sailed all the way back to Mumbai in the recently launched cruise liner – Jalesh Cruises. The moment I saw the ship at Mumbai Port from outside, I knew it was going to be a one-of-a-lifetime experience. The ship looked gigantic and massive from outside. As we entered the reception/lobby, I was blown away by the grandeur and opulence of the ship. It looked so beautiful and the interiors were so craft-fully and tastefully done. The ship can accommodate around 2000 passengers and has around 840 cabins. The ship has 14 decks and this exotic abode has all sorts of amenities from a salon to a spa, from a gym to a casino, from theatres and clubs for entertainment to world-class restaurants serving gourmet cuisines, from fancy bars to kids arena, from drop-dead-gorgeous views to a lovely open deck with a pool to chill around and so much more.

I had the most exotic stay at Jalesh Cruise. My cabin was a mini-suite with a private balcony and my day started with gazing out at the vast ocean and blue waters and ended with gazing at the stars. It was truly refreshing. If you want to experience the total luxury you could go for a mini-suite. They also have affordable options like interior cabins, cabins with ocean views and balcony. Whatever cabin you take, I can assure it’s going to be an ultimate holiday haven!

The dining options are specifically designed for Indian travelers and therefore there’s a special pure veg – ‘Vegetarian Bang’ and Jain restaurant – ‘Jain Haven’ too! Apart from these 9 restaurants, there are some premium dining restaurants that serve cutting edge cuisines. Being a foodie, I also dined at Chopstix which serves oriental food on-board and without a doubt had one of the best oriental meals of my life!

Enjoy drinks in their clubs, bars, and open deck and groove the night off dancing! What’s a cruise if not a party? The pool party on the top deck goes on till about 11 pm with the DJ playing some groovy numbers. The party is then shifted to the DOME and goes on until about 4 am! You can also enjoy an exclusive cocktail party in the Chairman’s Club onboard and get to meet the officers including the captain if you’re a mini-suite guest!

On different days there is a gamut of activities happening on-board like salsa classes, Bollywood dancing, housie, games for kids including an air hockey championship, quizzes, musical performances on different decks covering different genres of music and so much more. Every day a movie is also screened in their theatres. These activities keep you occupied while cruising mid-sea!

You can visit the Casino onboard if you’re in the mood for some gambling! Jalesh has Deltin Casino which is the best casino present in the country! Roulette, table games, poker, blackjack—name it and you have it. For the Indian audience—In & Out and Teen Patti are also played! You’re surely going to be hooked to this excitement and glamour of the casino experience. The cherry on the cake was the trained croupier and dealer who made it a truly world-class gaming experience.

Jalesh Karnika cruises to Goa, Diu, Ganpatipule and high seas from Mumbai in India. The International destinations include Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman, and Bahrain! So, you can choose your destination basis the number of days you want to cruise and your budget on hand. I cruised from Mumbai to Goa and back to Mumbai because Goa is my ultimate favorite destination. We got half a day in Goa when the ship was docked at Mormugao port and we hired two-wheeler and spent that half a day on Colva beach in a shack bar! However, ensure you make it back to the cruise on time just like we did.

I had such an amazing experience cruising that I just did not want to get down. How I wish it continued for a couple of days more!
