Varun Dhawan is one actor according to me who can do a Main Tera Hero as effortlessly as an October. While he is normally touted as a commercial actor, he makes sure to mix it up with different kinds of roles. Currently, he is busy shooting for Coolie No. 1 with Sara Ali Khan. Just today, he announced his next film. The actor is all set to star in a biopic on Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal – a 21-year-old soldier – who was martyred during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
Taking to his social media, he wrote that he has always wanted to play a soldier in a film and that this is a very important film for him. For the film, he is all set to reunite with his Badlapur director and genius filmmaker, Sriram Raghavan.

For the uninitiated, Arun Khetrapal is remembered for displaying great courage and valour during the war and has been honoured with the Param Vir Chakra, becoming the youngest recipient of India’s highest military decoration. Portraying the story of such a loved and revered person in history is going to be a responsibility and we sure can’t wait to see what Varun brings to the table!
