The one thing we are sure of over the past few days is that Deepika Padukone always has the most interesting anecdotes to share when it comes to her husband, Ranveer Singh. Be it about how he needs to dress when he is meeting her parents or his badminton scores against hers, they are super cute together and she doesn’t shy away from sharing it with the world.

Just yesterday, DP was at the Jio MAMI Movie Mela with Star where she was in conversation with film critics, Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra, where she was asked about the difference between her co-stars Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh’s acting processes. She said that Ranbir doesn’ really have a huge process in place, just like her. But she has something interesting to share about her husband, Ranveer’s method.

She says:

For Ranveer, everything changes. From the car he drives to his wardrobe, his perfume, everything. So you see the process with him. If he is Khilji, he will talk like Khilji and walk like Khilji. I keep joking with him, and seriously also tell him that the reason our relationship has lasted this long is that every six months, he is a new person. i am never bored. Now he finished ’83, I said Good Night to him. In the morning he has taken a flight and reached Hyderabad. I facetime him and I am like, ‘Who’s this?‘. Because he has gone back to playing Simmba. I was like okay, I’ll call you back in two days.

The audience sure did love her story and were super excited to hear all she had to say. They even had a fun poll where Rajeev asked the audience which pair they liked more – Ranbir and DP or Ranveer and DP. While a lot of them raised their hands for Ranbir and Deepika, the whole auditorium cheered all together when it came to Ranveer and her. Deepika exclaimed saying, “Oh, I married the right one!“.

Isn’t she just the cutest? Can’t wait to see her next in Chhappak and ’83.
