‘Tis the season of awards shows and we’re not complaining because we get all the glamour and fun we’ve been asking for all through the year in these few months. The most recent award that we witnessed was the Elle Beauty Awards. Along with seeing stunning outfits of B-town celebrities on the red carpet, now we’ve found a video from inside the award show that’s surfaced on Instagram. In the video, you can see Ranveer Singh on stage in his element while he says success means different things to different people. The actor then moves on say “Let’s ask the the very beautiful and talented Anushka Sharma what does success means to you?” He then proceeds to go off stage to give her the mic. But Anushka’s reply to his question left everyone in splits. She immediately reminds him that he’s not the host anymore. And Ranveer being Ranveer, takes it in the stride and acts like he completely forgot he wasn’t hosting the event. Even the emcee tells him that she’ll just sit and watch him as he takes over the show.

Ranveer and Anushka never leave a chance to pull each other’s legs. For those of you who are unaware, Ranveer and Anushka were seeing each other back in the day. But, the two are currently happily married to Deepika Padukone and Virat Kohli respectively. But these two have let bygones be bygones and have always continued to be friends. Anushka even attended the #DeepVeer wedding. Ranveer had also expressed how much it meant to him that Anushka had attended his wedding reception.
