Actors have very hectic schedules, especially when they’re shooting or promoting their films. Which leaves them with very little time to spend with their family. So wherever they get a chance to spend time with their family, they make sure to make the most of it. For the past year, Ayushmann Khurrana has been very busy with his professional commitments. And now, he’s decided to take a long break and spend time with his family.
In an interaction with IANS, the actor shared that he’s going to take some time off from mid-November.
Ayushmann said:
I don’t know how long the break will be. It could be two to three months, maybe more. All of last year and most of this year I was shooting four back-to-back films. So this past one year was really tough. But now I am taking care of it, and I will strike a balance. I am taking time off from mid-November to be with my family.
His most recent release, Dream Girl, has crossed the 100-crore mark and soon, he will get busy with the promotion of his upcoming film, Bala. Along with that, he will also be completing work on his other project – Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan.
Ayushmann hasn’t signed any film after Bala which also stars Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar among others. After 15th November, he is completely free to spend time with my family.
He shared:
I do realise my children are growing up and my wife needs time from me. I am making a conscious attempt to take time off from work periodically. I will be looking at scripts while I am home. Even if I lose out on work (during the vacation), it’s fine. There is an imperative need to take time off. It rejuvenates you.
Bala will be releasing on 22nd November and Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan will be releasing next year in March.
