Mouni Roy, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold, has an interesting line-up of films. She’ll be seen in Made In China followed by Brahmastra. Where we saw the Made In China trailer recently, we haven’t known much about her role in Brahmastra.
Mouni opened up about her character in the movie and said that it wasn’t easy for her. The actress will be seen as the antagonist in the film which also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia. She definitely had to prepare a lot for her role.
She shared:
I am the antagonist to Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchanji. As a villain, you have to obviously show fury and enmity towards them. That was extremely tough because I have looked up to Amitabhji as a hero ever since my teenage years. Not only was I performing in front of him but also had to show rage. For this, I had to prepare myself a lot. It was hard but now I really look forward to seeing it on the screen. The audience will see me in a new avatar.
Written and directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is the first part of the planned trilogy and will be releasing next year.
