Bigg Boss is one television reality show which has a very loyal fan following. And the show is soon going to be back with its 13th season. Recently, Salman Khan, who is the host of the show, spoke about the contestants and how he believes they are his responsibility in an interaction with Bollywood Hungama.
He shared:
After Dus Ka Dum, came Bigg Boss. The common man connect came from Dus Ka Dum and handling people came from Bigg Boss. It’s a very difficult show to handle. It is my responsibility to see that once they’re out of the house, they get more work and come as better people than what they went into the house.
Salman has also hosted the television game show Dus Ka Dum and because of that show, he realised the power of television. Even though the web space is growing, the Dabangg actor still feels that TV is a much bigger platform. Salman recalled an incident from the time when he was shooting for his film Wanted. And during this time, the second week of Dus Ka Dum was also going on. He shared that the people had forgotten about his films – Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun…!, Karan Arjun, and everybody was talking about Dus Ka Dum. That’s when he realised how big a medium TV is.
Bigg Boss is going to start airing from the 29th of September.
