Indian songs have a way of getting to people, don’t they? Their popularity and reach certainly know no boundaries. Our Hindi songs are all about the fun tunes and the cheer, so who wouldn’t like to sing along, right? Anupam Kher is in America, shooting for his television series, New Amsterdam. And we all know Mr Kher loves capturing some funny and memorable moments on his Instagram.
Now, he has decided to teach his colleagues on set a few lines of his favourite Hindi songs. He started with his co-star, Tyler Labine, who learnt the lyrics to Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol‘s iconic song from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge – Tujhe Dekha Toh Yeh Jaana Sanam. While he didn’t get all the lyrics right, it was all about the feels, and he sure got that bang on!

Anupam Kher is all set to star in the American series, New Amsterdam, where he plays the role of Dr Vijay Kapoor. This is not the first time Mr Kher is featuring in an international series like ER, Sense 8, The Indian Detective and Mrs Wilson. He certainly is spreading some Indian cheer all over the world, and we are so very proud of this talented actor putting our country and our songs on the global map.
