The ‘Badshah of Bollywood’, Shah Rukh Khan, is known to be the king of romance and that’s not for no reason. I mean, he can make even the most dreary of situations romantic with just his dimples and famous open arm gesture! SRK was recently at the launch of the heritage postal stamp of Bandra station on the completion of 150 years of the railway station.
Well, we all know of the actor’s very iconic connection with trains and railway stations – from Dil Waale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge to Chennai Express, he has had one of the most iconic moments with trains in particular. Also, being the old school romantic that he is, he sure does have a soft corner for handwritten letters and shared his thoughts on it.
He said:
I think there is certain romanticism about writing letters. I have romanced many girls on the railway station, but I had never been to this station, so I am very happy to be here. Now, that I have seen this station, I will come back.
Now, we would love to spot SRK chilling at the Bandra station, wouldn’t we?! Apparently, he even urged the crowd to go back to using stamps and writing letters as compared to texting. Well, there is a certain magic to writing a letter, and we have to agree with SRK on that!
On the work front, The actor was last seen in Anand L Rai‘s Zero, alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. He recently shot for the second season of Ted Talks, that he hosts. He is also producing the Netflix original show — Bard Of Blood — under his banner, Red Chillies Entertainment.
