Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently judging dance reality show, Dance India Dance. Every now and then, Karisma Kapoor steps in as a guest judge to replace her sister and while she is at it, shares some fun details from her life.
Lolo once revealed on the show that she received a beautiful pair of earrings from Saif Ali Khan when he got married to Bebo. This time while judging the show, Karisma shared an anecdote from the shoot of her film Krishna, co-starring Suniel Shetty.
While shooting Jhanjhariya, one of the most iconic songs from the film, Karisma had to change 30 costumes. WOAH! That’s a lot, isn’t it?!
Here’s what she said:
There were two versions of this song – male and female. The male version was shot in a desert in 50 degree heat while the female version was shot over three days in Mumbai. While shooting in the desert, the cast had to dance on the sand which kept flying into our eyes making it very difficult to shoot the song. When we started shooting for the female version, I realised I had 30 outfit changes for that one song. Every look was different with different hair and make-up. The steps were quite tough. So, Jhanjhariya was not only an iconic song but also the most memorable song of my career.
Looks like shooting for the song was no song and dance, after all!
