We always get the funniest and most embarrassing reactions from our close friends whenever we post our childhood pictures, no? Seems like it is no different for the celebrities as well. Taapsee Pannu posted a childhood picture of hers today as part of a campaign by an organisation called Save The Children, India. The motive behind the post is very relevant and an important conversation about giving all children an opportunity to excel.
Taapsee is seen in her school uniform and plaits in her hair, being awarded the first prize for winning a sports event. Her good friend and Manmarziyaan co-star, Vicky Kaushal, was quick to comment saying, “Pakka do chaar ko dhakka zaroor maara hoga” (Would have pushed down 2-4 people for sure). Given the friendly and fun camaraderie they share, Taapsee replied that she is a very fair player! Her Manmarziyaan director, Anurag Kashyap, also joined in and turned it into a little reunion of sorts.

Also, friends Sobhita Dhulipala and Anaita Shroff Adajanai said exactly what I was thinking – how relatable is the way Taapsee has tied her shoelace! I don’t know about you guys, but this used to be my lace style when I didn’t know how to tie one. Like Sobhita says, I wouldn’t mind if this shoelace style makes a comeback!
What a fun comment thread, no?
