Our Bollywood films are incomplete without songs and we’re sure you all would agree with this too. And it’s not only us, but people from all over the globe are fans of the Bollywood numbers too. Especially the evergreen classic ones! Rishi Kapoor, who has been in New York for close to a year for his cancer treatment, recently visited a salon there. After realising who he was, the salon there played his song Main Shayar Toh Nahin and the actor was overwhelmed with the gesture!
He recorded the entire incident and shared it with his fans on Twitter. “My anthem played in a salon whilst getting a hair cut. Russian recognized me and played it from his note book. Thank you Sergie,” he wrote sharing the video.

The Raees director, Rahul Dholakia too recalled a similar incident and shared, “What a moment! Once we were at the Venetian Casino in Vegas, and on seeing my mum and aunt in a saree, the musician started playing Mr. Raj Kapoor’s signature tune on his violin! The two ladies had such a big smile on their face, they talked about it for 20 years. Jai Hind.”
Rishi Kapoor then also shared a photo with Suniel Shetty and his wife Mana Shetty who visited him and Neetu Kapoor there.
