By now, we all know that Akshay Kumar is one actor who does almost 3-4 films a year. His filmography has been a good mix of movies from different genres. Not only that, but he has also played different roles, be it a gay character in Dishoom, or the one where he gets possessed by a transgender in his upcoming film Laxmmi Bomb. During an interview, he was asked if he has ever been advised to not do certain things.
To this he said:
I have been advised a lot of times not to do this and that. I was also advised not to do Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Pad Man. I have got them for big people from the industry. That is not right. It doesn’t matter how much my role is, I want to be a part of a great film. If it’s a great film and my role is small, I’m fine with it.
Even in his upcoming film, Mission Mangal, he is letting the women take the lead! Talking about Mission Mangal, which also stars Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi among others, will be releasing tomorrow, 15th August.
