While social media can be a great place for celebrities to connect with their biggest fans, it can also be their biggest bane. Every celebrity ever has had to go through scores of trolls that poke fun or write mean comments about them on a daily basis.
Today a Twitter user thought he could get away with one such comment directed at Varun Dhawan. While VD usually keeps it jovial and calm, today he gave a befitting reply to the troll. A few days ago VD had appreciated his icon Dwayne Johnson‘s new movie Hobbs And Shaw on Twitter. The Rock replied to his tweet thanking the actor as well.
Check it out:
Watched #HobbsAndShaw . It’s great fun in the cinema. @TheRock really brings its. Loved the homage paid to the Samoan culture. The London chase sequence has to be the best

Mahalo brother and glad you loved it. You’re the best 👍🏾🥃@HobbsAndShaw https://t.co/im4NbXMOAq

As you can imagine VD was over the moon.
But this Twitter user accused Varun of promoting American films rather than improving the quality of Hindi films he stars in. He even ‘advised’ the actor to quit doing masala films and do films that are content-driven.
Take a look:
Instead of promoting #Hollywood movies And Giving americans money please raise our movie quality instead of masala movies that u do… Make Some Content driven films.. Also Promote Good Bollywood Movies Which Remain Unnotified..Make India Proud. @Varun_dvn @karanjohar

But VD slammed the troll with his reply.
Check it out:
Maybe you should not have Harry Potter as your profile picture when you try to teach people what to do son. Now go to bed 🛌 https://t.co/wMBFC4a1AC

Now that’s a fitting reply, don’t you think?
Live and let live, y’all! Spread some love and positivity and like VD said get some sleep too!
