A harmless video of the who’s who of Bollywood – namely Shahid Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal, Zoya Akhtar, Ayan Mukherji, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Varun Dhawan – partying at Karan Johar‘s house has created quite a stir.
While we enjoyed watching the video and would have traded anything to be a fly on the wall, an MLA by the name Manjinder S Sirsa alleged that the people present at the gathering were drugged.
Sirsa is a member of the Shiromani Akali Dal and has now asked for an FIR to be filed against these stars.
I have requested @CPMumbaiPolice to register FIR against the Bollywood Stars in the video flaunting their drug party…under The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985
The party was uploaded by @karanjohar himself on July 28th, 2019@ANI @htTweets @republic @ZeeNews pic.twitter.com/nNRH6i9yfn— Manjinder S Sirsa (@mssirsa) August 1, 2019
Mr. Sirsa is troubled by the fact that the stars defamed his state (Punjab) on screen (possibly referring to Udta Punjab) but have no issues in openly flaunting their drugged state. He further questioned if they don’t care about the impact they have on the youth of our country by posting such videos online.
