TBH, after seeing the first glimpse of Mission Mangal, I just couldn’t wait for the trailer! And now that the trailer is ‘launched’ (pun intended), I can’t wait to see the movie. The nerdy me has already seen National Geographic‘s Mangalyaan documentary and is super excited for this on-screen representation of the story. Till then I am going to keep an eye out at the awesome, women-centred star cast of the movie because they had some serious saree game going on at the trailer launch. 1. Vidya Balan
Vidya wore a black saree with gold embroidery work from Raw Mango. Celebrity stylist duo, Pranay Jaitly and Shounak Amonkar from Who Wore What When accessorised the saree with jewellery from Raniwala 1881.
2. Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi took the pastel route and donned a floral print saree with a white bralette style blouse. Those long, layered earrings and the bindi completed her desi look!
3. Taapsee Pannu
Taapsee opted for a contemporary take on saree. Celebrity stylist Devki Bhatt chose this SongBird pantsuit from Starch The Label which had a half-skirt attached to the pants and the pallu draped across the body. She simply styled this all-white ensemble with a choker necklace and nude strappy heels.
4. Kirti Kulhari
Kirti chose the popping contrast of hot-pink and gold. The shiny, metallic drape and the hot pink V-neck blouse made case for matching up unexpected solid colours. She accessorised the look with a choker necklace and gold peep-toe heels.
5. Nithya Menen
Nithya also went for a floral-print saree but in grayscale that had a think gold border. The contrasting black blouse and the oxidised jewellery complemented the saree hues.
