It’s raining like crazy for 4 days straight in Mumbai! If you are bracing the downpour and heading out, then you’re a braveheart, indeed. The first rule in any situation has to be to dress according to the weather, and though there is no such thing as a monsoon wardrobe, there are a few outfits we prefer over others during this season. Also, appropriate footwear to face the mucky seasons is a must and gumboots are a saviour at times.
But if you’re looking for instant outfit inspiration, then Kriti Sanon‘s recent airport look can be one. While on her way to Delhi, Kriti sported the latest Shivan & Narresh X Koovs collection. She donned an oriental floral print cropped jacket with a black panel and matching shorts. This, she teamed with a black cropped tee and accessorised with black rectangular sunglasses, crossbody sling bag Dreamer 21 with butterfly print from Coach and white sneakers.
The outfit makes for a perfect monsoon attire mainly because of the two reasons:
- It’s 100% polyester, which makes it really apt for monsoon.
- The shorts are also of a good length that we’ll generally gravitate towards during this season.
But considering the harsh weather and the mucky roads, we would definitely swap those white shoes with gumboots or with other monsoon-appropriate footwear. Of course, an umbrella would make this outfit cutesy for the murky season.
