Sara Ali Khan made a smashing debut in Kedarnath and won over hearts with her performance in Simmba. But she really made her mark way before, when she appeared on Karan Johar‘s talk show. People couldn’t stop gushing over how well-spoken, honest and fun she was! She never shies away from talking about her family, her parents and the equation they share.
Sara and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan were brought-up by their mother – Amrita Singh – and they of course share a very close bond. In an exclusive interview with Harpers Bazaar India, Sara spoke about her mother and how she wants to live with her forever.
Here’s what she said:
I intend to live with my mother for the rest of my life. She gets upset when I say that because she has this whole marriage plan for me, but she can also come with me no, what’s the problem?
I am sure all us daughters relate to that, amirite?!
Talking further about her mother, she added:
I love hanging out with her, and I miss her when she’s away even for a few days. There’s nothing I hide from her. But having said that, she’s the only person I fear.
Aww, this mother-daughter relationship is absolute goals!
On the work front, Sara is currently shooting for Imtiaz Ali‘s next, a sequel to his hit film Love Aaj Kal, opposite Kartik Aaryan. Her rapport with Kartik has been the talk of the town and fans cannot wait to see the both of them in the film! She has also signed on David Dhawan‘s remake of Coolie No. 1 opposite Varun Dhawan. Sara certainly is doing some interesting stuff and we can’t wait to see her in the movies soon!
