Nobody can predict the fate of a film before it releases. And sometimes, the movie fails to connect with the audience and doesn’t live up to the expectation. Many actors have had one such film in their career but not everyone is honest enough to accept it. Shahid Kapoor definitely doesn’t fall in that category. The actor spoke about that one film from his career trajectory that he’d like to erase, and it was none other than Shaandaar.
Shahid and Kiara Advani appeared for an episode of By Invite Only on Zoom to promote their film, Kabir Singh. During the conversation, Kiara mentioned that she wasn’t a fan of Shaandaar. Shahid agreed with the same and shared that he would want to erase that film from his career.
He said:
I would erase Shaandaar from my career trajectory if I could. No one from this generation of actors can claim that a bad film did well just because they were in it. I think I have a very loyal fan following. And I thank them every day of my life. I have done some really crappy films.
That was quite an honest confession, must say!
On the show, Shahid also spoke about maintaining a work-life balance and said, “I have to spend some time with my children every day. It sometimes means I am not going to shoot beyond this point of time. That’s not something negotiable for me, it’s a priority!”
Shahid Kapoor is #FatherGoals all the way!
Below are some photos (and a video) of Shahid with his children, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor:
Aren’t they super cute?
