Alia Bhatt and her BFFs are certainly one girl gang we can’t get enough of. From their cute selfies to stunning pictures during their friends’ weddings, they are goals all the way. Alia is especially close to Akansha Ranjan Kapoor who she posts many pictures with. Akansha recently made her acting debut with the music video Tere Do Naina alongside Aparshakti Khurana. It is composed by Gourov- Roshin and sung by Ankit Tiwari.
I caught up with her to talk about her music video and her acting career. While talking about her choice to enter this field, she mentions that she always wanted to pursue acting and that she often had these moments where she would look in the mirror and imagine she was in a talk show. When asked if she was inspired by Alia’s decision to enter films, she said the two best friends always wanted to become actresses.
She shares:
Alia, me and our girl gang have known each other since we were like 2 years old. When we were little and there were these parties and get-togethers at home, Alia and I were always called in front to perform for everyone and entertain them. We loved doing that and we were always sure that we’ll be actresses. Only she got to do it earlier and we cheered her on, and now it’s my turn!
We sure do look forward to seeing more of Akansha on screen soon, who mentioned that her debut feature film is going to be out real soon!
