If you’ve been following B-Town news incessantly, you’ll know that not everything is well between Kangana Ranaut and Alia Bhatt. While the narrative of this unfortunate tiff started back when Alia was unable to attend the screening of Manikarnika, it has been extended into way more than that. At one point even Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel joined in to reveal how Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt had thrown a slipper at her during the premiere of Woh Lamhe. When Alia was asked about the same, she chose to not comment on it. For which, Rangoli lashed out at the actress saying it’s funny chooses to remain quiet when women are finally speaking up.
After all of this, Mahesh Bhatt has finally responded to these accusations in an interview with IANS and called Kangana ‘Bacchi‘
He said:
She is a bachchi. She started her journey with us. Just because her relative (Rangoli) is attacking me, I won’t comment. Our upbringing and culture teach us that we should not raise a finger on our children. So saying anything against our children won’t be possible. My upbringing stops me to do so… Till I die, I will never ever say anything against our child because it is against my upbringing, it is against my nature. If abusing me serves your purpose (Aapki dukaan chalti hai), then good I don’t mind. But I won’t speak ill about my junior, our women and children. My morals, my nature, my belief stops me from doing that.
That is quite the wise filmmaker we know of.
For those of you who weren’t aware, Kangana had made her debut with Gangster directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt. But in a series of tweets, Rangoli had taken to tell the world that the Kangana’s big break was given to her by Anurag and not Mahesh Ji. But the Bhatt family had chosen to remain quiet about all of this and still continue to do so as you can see.
