Yesterday, we told you about Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan‘s respective films Mental Hai Kya and Super 30 clashing at the Box Office on July 26. As expected, a whole lot of drama ensued after Kangana’s sister, Rangoli Chandel tweeted saying that Hrithik used the actress as a “punching bag”. You can read more about it here.
Anyhow, Hrithik later announced that he has decided to shift the release date of the film, which he will announce soon.
Post this announcement, Kangana put out a statement saying:
Hrithik Roshan, Madhu Mentena and Ekta Kapoor had collectively decided that Hrithik would push Super 30’s release date and Ekta will bring her film Mental Hai Kya on 26th July, they had taken this call last week itself. I don’t know why he wrote this sob story but I am glad Mental Hai Kya is getting a solo release. I salute my producer Ekta Kapoor for making her way in this male dominated industry, it’s not easy to do what she does… I applaud her courage and power.
Well, we are just glad both the films are now getting their individual release dates. Both the films are interesting enough to get the limelight they deserve, right?!
