Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ready to welcome their first child anytime now and fans of the royal couple cannot keep calm. Harry and Meghan, who tied the knot in one of the most beautiful Royal weddings, decided to not reveal the exact due date but confirmed that they were expecting the baby in the Spring of 2019. A source close to the couple informed UK publication – The Sun – that Meghan and Harry are really excited but also nervous as any first-time parents would be. Though the publication stated the due date was on the 28th of April, it seems like it is going to be sometime close to that.
The Duchess of Sussex has decided to opt for a private delivery at their home in Frogmore Cottage. Sources revealed to The Sun publication that the couple has chosen the NHS Frimley Hospital which is 30 minutes away from their home as a standby, in case of any complications in the delivery.
About the Duchess’s birth plans, sources close to the royal family said:
The plan has never changed, Meghan has been very clear what she wants. She’s been preparing for the birth – she wants it to be as natural as possible – and so has been practising hypnobirthing and breathing techniques with Harry. When she goes into labour, she wants to remain at home for as long as possible but she’s in a situation where if something did go wrong and she had to be whisked to hospital, she would be.
This is Meghan’s and Harry’s first child who will be seventh in line to the throne. We cannot wait for the royal baby and to find out if it’s going to be a Prince or a Princess.
