Alia Bhatt‘s film choices have always been revered. Whether it’s serious roles like Udta Punjab and Raazi or light-hearted ones such as Gully Boy and Badrinath Ki Dulhania – she nails them all! I guess it would be safe to call her the girl with the Midas touch, no?!
Apart from Kalank and Brahmastra, Alia will be seen in Baahubali director SS Rajamouli‘s 350 Crores magnum opus titled RRR. The actress is paired opposite South Indian superstar, Ram Charan and is learning Telugu as part of the preparations. Speaking about the film to BL, Alia said:
I am prepping for it. It’s tough, but I think I’ll be good at it. I am having fun.
She also spoke about working with Rajamouli sir, one of the finest we have in our country:
He was on my bucket list of directors. Not only because of Baahubali, of course that was a very big factor but also because of his imagination. Right from Magadheera to Eega, these concepts are simply mind-blowing. He is truly an artist and understands his audience, the people he is making the film for. His emotions and story are so powerful, likewise with RRR, he has a very powerful story to tell.
The film is a fictitious story set in the 1920s, based on the lives of two legendary freedom fighters – Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju. It also stars Jr. NTR, Ajay Devgn and Samuthirakani.
