Irrfan Khan, without a doubt, is one of the best actors we have in the industry today. The actor, who was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour, was in London for his treatment and returned to Mumbai this week. He also shared a heartfelt note thanking everyone for the love and support. Soon we got to know that he is going to be back to the movies and we were more than excited to see him on the sets. And after a lot of speculations, the actor has finally begun shooting for Angrezi Medium which is a sequel to Hindi Medium in Udaipur today.
Maddock Films, who is producing the film, shared a photo from the set where we see Irrfan posing with Dinesh Vijan, Homi Adajania and Deepak Dobriyal, who was also a part of the first film.

Talking about Hindi Medium, it revolved around a well-off Chandni Chowk couple (played by Irrfan and Saba Qamar) who aspire to break into the elite society and give their daughter the best education possible. Hindi Medium was one of the top grossers of 2017 and the third most profitable film of the year. The Saket Chaudhary directorial had a slow start but soon picked up because of word of mouth.
Coming to Angrezi Medium, it is being directed by Homi and produced by Dinesh. As per reports, the film will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan.
