There are many things that were a big part of our childhood and teenage life. We grew up listening to a bunch of songs, watching a tonne of movies, playing fun games and watching a lot of television shows that resonate with us even today. There’s nothing that influenced our lives more than the biggest TV cult of the ’90s—F.R.I.E.N.D.S! It was such a big part of our lives that we can relate to the characters and dialogues till day. We still use F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ references every time we get a chance, and we totes judge the peeps who haven’t ever watched the show (which BTW, is almost no one). If you’re an awesome human being because you love this show as much as us, you’re gonna defo remember these moments that we still cherish and will never get over in our lives! 1. When Ross Gets A Fake Tan
Remember the scene where Ross gets a fake tan as suggested by Monica? He gets sprayed multiple times and how he deals with it is too funny.
2. When Rachel & Ross Find Out They’re Each Other’s Lobsters
We still use this as a reference for a “soulmate”. The moment when all six of them watch an old tape where Ross wants to take Rachel to prom and when Rachel realises how selfless Ross was, she goes and kisses him!
3. When Joey Moves Back In With Chandler
We loved the episode when Chandler’s psychotic rebound roommate, Eddie moves out and Joey moves back in.
4. PIVOT!
This was one of the funniest moments on F.R.I.E.N.D.S! There’s nothing more we need to say now, do we?
5. When Chandler (Oops, Monica) Proposes
We literally cannot explain how romantic we thought this proposal was. Even though Monica initially proposes, we remember Chandler saying “You make me happier than I ever thought I could be. And if you let me, I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to make you feel the same way.”
6. Phoebe’s Unplanned Winter Wedding
It’s really one of the sweetest things—Phoebe‘s glow while she walks down the aisle. It was so beautiful, wasn’t it?
7. When Rachel finds Out She’s Pregnant
Rachel finds out she’s pregnant with Ross’ baby but takes a test in the washroom at Monica’s wedding just to be sure. Do you remember Phoebe tricks Rachel into expressing how she really feels about having the baby?
8. When Someone Eats Ross’ Sandwich
This honestly is us every time people want to take a “bite” of what we’re eating. It also reminds us of the “Joey doesn’t share food” incident. We relate to both, TBH!
9. When Joey & Rachel Kiss
During the last season of the show, when they all head to Barbados for Ross’ convention, Joey and Rachel both realise they like each other at the same time. And they share a really passionate kiss after Joey knocks on her room door.
10. When Ross Was “Fine”
When Joey and Rachel start dating, they don’t immediately tell Ross about it. And considering his history with Rachel, he obviously flips out after catching them make out in their home. He tries to play it cool but fails miserably. And that dinner turns out to be really awkward for everyone.
11. Unagi
This was another epic moment on the show. Ross tries to teach Rachel and Phoebe the importance of self-defence and he tells them about “Unagi, a state of total awareness” and they don’t take him seriously at all.
12. The Epic Trivia Quiz
The episode when the boys challenge the girls to a trivia quiz about how well they know the girls was absolutely brilliant. Monica and Rachel bet the house and lost. But the questions and the game, in general, was a fun watch.
